We are a team of Australian biomedical research scientists who pool our expertise in human genetics, developmental biology and molecular biology with the aim of identifying genes important for sex determination and development of the gonads, and discovering how they contribute to DSD.

Our research provides a scientific basis for diagnosing, understanding and managing DSD.

We are committed to strengthening the links between basic researchers, medical practitioners, and affected people and their families. It is our hope that improved communication and interaction will lead to a better understanding and acceptance of variations in sex development among affected families and the broader community.
